Overseeding
Overseeding is best done in the fall. With the fall season, there is a terrific opportunity to get your lawn in the greatest shape possible. That period starts in mid-August and ends in September. During this brief time, conditions such as cooler temperatures are optimal for planting and germinating grass seed for a fuller, healthier looking lawn.
Overseeding is the process of broadcasting seed over a lawn to help thicken a weak lawn. It is recommended that starter fertilizer application and lime is applied at the time of seeding, as well as after germination.
Keeping the lawn moist is critical to your success, so make sure you make plans to keep it moist at all times. Refer to our watering instructions at https://www.nlcinc.net/watering-instructions/
