Position Summary
As a Landscape Supervisor, you’ll oversee residential and commercial projects while leading crews in the field. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and hands-on technical ability. You’ll be responsible for ensuring every job is completed efficiently, safely, and to Northeast Landscape’s high standards of quality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute landscape maintenance and installation projects
- Lead and train crew members on-site to ensure safe, high-quality work
- Coordinate and manage daily job schedules within budgeted time frames
- Verify that all crew members wear proper uniforms and safety equipment
- Operate and oversee the use of equipment, power tools, and small machinery
- Manage and record daily workflows, times, and notes using a tablet through SAP
- Conduct final site inspections, ensuring complete cleanup and client satisfaction
- Maintain tools, trucks, and trailers in a clean, professional condition
- Track tool inventory for assigned trailer and report equipment service needs
- Assist with project management and ensure adherence to job timelines
- Professionally interact with clients to review or clarify project expectations
- Complete daily DoT logs and use asset tracking software as required
- Be available for weekend work during peak season and snow operations in winter
Requirements
- Punctual, professional appearance, and strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license in good standing; ability to drive a truck with trailer
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Landscape Supervisor (or related leadership role)
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- General working knowledge of landscape tools and equipment
- Ability to record and manage daily workflow on a company-issued tablet
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Full-time (8-hour day shift, Monday–Friday; overtime and weekends as needed)
- Expected Hours: 40 per week
