Irrigation Technician (NOW HIRING FOR 2026)

As part of our Irrigation Division, you will install, maintain, and repair both commercial and residential irrigation systems. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and eager to contribute to a growing and respected company.

Responsibilities:

  • Install new irrigation systems and service existing ones
  • Read and interpret irrigation designs, blueprints, and layouts
  • Troubleshoot systems and recommend solutions for more efficient water usage
  • Properly activate and test irrigation systems in spring
  • Winterize irrigation systems to prevent freeze damage to piping, heads, and backflow systems
  • Operate and maintain pumps, wells, and controllers
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding system performance, watering schedules, and water conservation techniques
  • Maintain accurate time and job notes using our SAP system
  • Must be available weekends during peak season and for rain date make-ups
  • Must be available during the winter months to participate in the snow program

Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professional appearance
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing (required)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of irrigation or landscape construction experience
  • Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills

Additional Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $27-$32 per hour
  • Expected Hours: 40 per week
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, with overtime or weekend work as needed
  • Payment Frequency: Paid weekly
  • Supplemental Pay Types: Bonus opportunities

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Irrigation: 2 years (Required)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver’s License (Required)
