As a Fertilizer / Pesticide Technician, you’ll be on the front line of our business — providing best-in-class lawn care services to our residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating healthy, beautiful landscapes.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply fertilizer and weed control products to customer lawns and shrubs
  • Inspect lawns to accurately diagnose and correct problem areas
  • Safely operate application equipment, trucks, and trailers
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and focusing on quality results
  • Build relationships with customers through professionalism and strong communication
  • Maintain accurate time and job records using our SAP system
  • Must be available weekends during peak season and to make up any rain dates during the week

Employee will be responsible for the following pesticide and turf services:

  • Lawn fungicide and fertilization applications
  • Tree and shrub fungicide and fertilization applications
  • Tick and flea control treatments
  • Mosquito mist applications
  • Moisture management applications
  • Weed control in planting beds
  • Core aeration and seeding

Requirements:

  • Punctuality and professional appearance are required
  • Valid State Applicator’s License (required) and commitment to continuing education
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Ability to lift/carry 50 lb. bags of product
  • Strong working knowledge of landscape and turf equipment
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or with a team

Additional Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
  • Expected Hours: 40 per week
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, with overtime or weekend work as needed
  • Payment Frequency: Paid weekly
  • Supplemental Pay Types: Bonus opportunities

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Fertilizer / Pesticide Application: 1–2 years (Required)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver’s License (Required)
  • State Applicator’s License (Required)
